Very warm to hot and humid with mainly N-NE winds. Thunderstorms from the southwest from late morning spreading to Border Ranges.

Storm chase with Dave Ellem to Mummulgum area. Quite a bit of lightning and thunder observed booming across the valley. Thick extensive anvils overhead.

Activity cleared mid afternoon, but a second chase this evening with Dave, Beck Armytage and Rodney Wallbridge to Mallanganee lookout.

Wintry cells but lightning on Northern Tablelands persisted for a while.
